Battlefield bicycle tours

The Liberation Museum offers an extensive cycling programme for all ages. Cycling in the footsteps of the liberators. An experience on the former battlefields!


Sunday April 29, May 20, June 3, June 10, September 30 and October 14: Battlefield Bicycle Tour

Bicycle tour (bring your own bike) of 10 km over the battlefield of WW2 in and around Nijmegen. Starting point: the statue of 'Mariken van Nimwegen', Grote Markt (Nijmegen centre). Time: 1-5 pm. Tickets € 10,50 pp. payable to the guide directly, includes a free ticket to the Liberation Museum. Reservations required.


Sunday July 29, August 5, August 12 and August 19: Cycling without a parachute

Bicycle tour (bring your own bike) from 12-5 pm through the landing areas of Operation Market Garden at Groesbeek. Length of tour approx. 20 km. Start: Liberation Museum. Tickets € 10,50 pp (reservations required).
