Guided tours for the blind and visually impaired

Looking with your hands is allowed.

The Liberation Museum will continue the guided tours for the visually impaired. The slogan is: looking with your hands. In these special tours we show objects from our depot and all senses will undergo an experience: feel the weight of a shell, listen to Radio Orange, smell ersatz coffee, taste liberation bread baked according to the original WW2 recipe.

Specialist guides tell the story of the Dutch liberation by means of many original objects that can all be taken in hand, from the smallest cigarette to the largest gun.

Dates of the tours in 2016:

  • Sunday January 10 from 1-2.30 pm.
  • Saturday June 11 from 1-2.30 pm.
  • Thursday September 8 from 4.30-6 pm.

Please contact the museum for information concerning transfer from local bus stop to museum: 024-3974404,

Reservations required, guide dogs are allowed.
