Introduction films


If you visit the museum with a group, you are given an introduction to the museum including a film of about 20 min. You can choose from the following titles:

Operation Market Garden: English spoken with original images of the events in the south of the Netherlands in September 1944.

Unfinished Past: a English spoken film made by the Liberation Route giving an overview of Operation Market Garden, the Rhineland Offensive and the liberation of the Netherlands.

Victory in the Netherlands: a Dutch spoken film with English subtitles made by the Canadian army in 1945 showing the liberation of the Netherlands by the Canadian army. 

Krieg am Niederrhein, a German spoken film about the large Rhineland Offensive by the British and Canadian armies in February 1945 which subsequently lead to the end of WW2.

The short life of Anne Frank, English subtitles, an educational film against the historical background of WW2.
